| When I was a kid, I used to visit my grandma on
school vacations. Her sister lived around the corner in the same
condominium development, and I'd always go over there one morning
to have breakfast with my great-aunt and uncle. My all-time favorite
dish was one that was supposed to be dessert for four to six
people, but skinny little me and my adored Uncle Fritz got through
the whole mountain of it almost on our own (Aunt Trude didn't
eat enough to really even count). It translates as "mess
fit for an emperor," and I couldn't agree more! |
